We continue to offer our beautiful property for lodging as usual and the health and safety of our guests and staff is of the utmost priority. We are closely monitoring the situation around Coronavirus (COVID-19), including guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Department of Health, and the American Hotel and Lodging Association. Out of concern for our guests and our community, be assured we’re doing all we can to protect your health and well-being during your stay.
What Can You Expect During Your Stay?
*All guests are required to wear a face mask while in the lobby and while walking to and from your room.
*For your protection, we ask that everyone maintain a safe distance from others of at least 6 feet (space permitting).
*For the welfare of all of our guests and our staff, no employee will enter your room during your stay, apart from emergency maintenance. This means there will be no housekeeping service, but towels, linens, and bathroom amenities will be delivered upon request, in a contactless manner, as well as retrieving any trash.
*Our normal hot breakfast is not being offered at this time. We are providing our guests with a $5 voucher to Cuban Coffee Queen for a Sunrise Special (a 1/2 of a Key Wester sandwich and a cafe con leche; a Key West favorite). One voucher per guest, per day. There are two locations to serve you: Margaret Street which is 0.7 miles from our property and Southard Street which is 0.4 miles.
We are committed to providing every guest with the peace of mind and confidence that we are doing everything we can to provide a safe, clean, and disinfected environment. You will be welcomed by a team of hospitality professionals that have been fully trained on the importance of upholding our highest level of sanitation standards as well as the sensitivity of the current health situation we are all in.
Our Sanitation and Disinfecting Protocol Includes:
*Screening of all team members for COVID symptoms prior to their shifts which includes temperature checks and an assessment of their current health. All team members are instructed to alert management prior to their arrival if they are not feeling well and asked to remain at home.
*All team members will wear PPE, based on their role and responsibilities and in adherence with state or local regulations and guidance. This includes masks, gloves, and/or goggles.
*Every team member is trained on how to swiftly respond to a guest or associate who is experiencing any of the symptoms associated with COVID 19.
*Because our lobby areas are limited on space, only one guest will be allowed into the office at a time; or, our front desk staff will work to check you in outside.
*Hand sanitizer dispensers are available in all public guest and employee areas.
*Our cleaning protocols include EPA-approved disinfectants that meet CDC requirements for use, and are effective against viruses, bacteria, and other airborne and blood borne pathogens.
*Our team upholds a strict schedule of routine hand sanitation throughout their time on property.
*Public restrooms are cleaned with increased frequency with locks, walls, toilet seats, sinks, faucets, and doors being disinfected after each service.
*Rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected upon departure including the use of hospital-grade disinfectant.
*To minimize personal contact between team members and guests, no full housekeeping service will be carried out during a guest’s stay.
*Linens, towels, and bathroom amenities will be replenished on request with no-touch delivery.
